With just a few days left before election day, New York 27th congressional district candidate Chris Jacobs is getting another hand from Donald Trump Jr.

Earlier this week, Jacobs posted a video in which the president's son gave him his endorsement. But if voters didn't see it on Twitter, Don Jr. went directly to their phones.

School-based health centers need $100 million in funding, Rep. Elise Stefanik urged in a letter to top House leaders released on Thursday.

The money should be included in the next federal coronavirus relief package, Stefanik wrote in the letter.

The United Auto Workers has endorsed Democratic congressional candidate Jackie Gordon, giving her a key labor nod as she seeks to flip a Republican House seat.

Gordon was endorsed by the union's 9A New York Area Cap Council, which represents about 37,000 active and retired UAW members and families in the state, including 1,500 people in the 2nd congressional district on Long Island.

President Donald Trump doled out endorsements in a pair of New York swing House districts on Wednesday, backing Republicans Claudia Tenney and Nicole Malliotakis.

Both endorsements came via the president's Twitter feed.

Days after getting the GOP nomination for New York's 27th Congressional District special election, the campaign for Chris Jacobs announced a key endorsement.

Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-NY-21, is supporting Chris Jacobs' bid to fill the seat vacated in the fall by convicted former Congressman Chris Collins. Stefanik is an honorary co-chair for the Donald Trump 2020 campaign in New York as well as a member of the White House impeachment defense team.

The Republican field for New York’s 27th Congressional District has one more, and likely it’s final, candidate for the upcoming special election.

Erie County Comptroller Stefan Mychajliw, who has been mulling a run for months, made it official Tuesday night, launching a website and campaign video. Mychajliw muddles a field even more, that already includes GOP state senators Chris Jacobs and Rob Ortt, Fox News contributor Beth Parlato and health care administrator Frank Smierciak.

Republican Chele Chiavacci Farley has been formally designated the Republican candidate for the 18th congressional district in the Hudson Valley.

Farley is running for the seat held by Democratic Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney since 2012.

Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro on Friday said he plans to serve out his third term in office and forgo a run for the 19th congressional district in the Hudson Valley.

“I am focused on the work before us here in Dutchess County,” he told Spectrum News after he was sworn in earlier in the morning. “I am focused on serving out my third term as county executive and I’m focused and very dedicated to a family that deserves to have their husband and dad around.”

Republican Assemblyman Michael LiPetri on Wednesday announced his campaign for the Long Island House district being vacated by GOP Rep. Peter King at the end of 2020.

“I am proud to officially announce my candidacy for U.S. Congress!” LiPetri posted to Twitter. “In Washington, D.C., I will continue to serve as your fearless voice for independence and common-sense!”

Democrats who represent battleground congressional districts want to show voters this month they can walk and chew gum at the same time — or at least demonstrate their jobs aren’t being consumed by the impeachment of President Trump.

Take Rep. Antonio Delgado, a Democrat who represents a swing Hudson Valley district that up until his election last year has been represented by a Republican since 2012.

Sen. David Carlucci on Monday received the endorsement of the Rockland County Building and Construction Trade Council in his bid for the Democratic nomination in the 17th congressional district.

“I am proud to have the support of the hardworking men and women of the Rockland County Building and Construction Trades Council,” Carlucci said.

Republican House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy is backing the comeback bid of former Rep. Claudia Tenney.

McCarthy on Tuesday endorsed Tenney’s push for the Republican nomination in the 22nd congressional district, a seat she lost a year ago to Democratic Rep. Anthony Brindisi.
