President Donald Trump doled out endorsements in a pair of New York swing House districts on Wednesday, backing Republicans Claudia Tenney and Nicole Malliotakis.

Both endorsements came via the president's Twitter feed.

Tenney, who faces a multi-candidate primary in June, is running for the seat she lost in 2018 to Democratic Rep. Anthony Brindisi.

The district stretches from the Mohawk Valley region to the Southern Tier and is considered one fo the top battleground seats in the state this fall.

Trump and his family had campaigned for Tenney two years ago, with the president traveling to Utica for a fundraiser that summer.

“I am humbled and honored to have the support of President Trump,” Tenney said. “As a single mother and small business owner who is a native of Upstate New York, my number one priority is working with the President to continue growing our strong economy and delivering results for the hardworking men and women of our district.”

Trump also endorsed Assemblywoman Nicole Malliotakis, the Republican challenging Democratic Rep. Max Rose for a seat that covers Staten Island and Brooklyn.
