Gov. Andrew Cuomo last year earned $280,677 in adjusted gross income, his 2019 tax filing shows.
The filing was made public on Wendesday as per an annual tradition by the governor and Lt. Gov. Kathy Hochul.
Cuomo earned $192,858 in salary and has $90,781 in a passive blind trust.
He paid an effective federal tax rate of 21.4 percent. His state effective tax rate was 5.9 percent.
Cuomo donated $12,750 to charity.
Lt. Gov. Kathy Hochul files jointly with her husband Bill Hochul, and the two reported a combined income of $1.18 million in 2019. They paid an effective federal tax rate of 29.9 percent and a state tax rate of 6.69 percent.
The Hochuls donated $52,807 to a variety of charities, including Habitat for Humanity, American Diabetes Association, the Buffalo History Museum, the Albright-Knox Art Gallery and Planned Parenthood of New York State.
Cuomo this year sought to push state lawmakers to pass a measure requiring they release their tax returns; the provision was not included in the final budget deal.
