Republican congressional candidate Liz Joy on Tuesday was endorsed by the Conservative Party committees in the five-county 20th congressional district. 

"Liz Joy is an exceptional candidate and will make an outstanding member of Congress.  She thinks the way we do on issue after issue including border security, a strong military, immigration, support for law enforcement and the right to life," said state Conservative Party Chairman Gerard Kassar. "Liz will also be a reliable vote in moving President Trump's highly successful economic and foreign agenda forward. Our Nation, State and the capital region will do well to elect Liz Joy to Congress. she has our full support."

Joy is running to challenge Democratic Rep. Paul Tonko. Michael Seney has also filed to run for the GOP nomination.
