Assembly Democrats are set to report holding a combined $4.3 million in the conference's campaign coffers.

The conference will report this month having a record-high cash-on-hand of $3.5 million in its main campaign account at the Democratic Assembly Campaign Committee.

The conference will also report having $836,960 in its "housekeeping" or soft money account, which has no limits on donations but restrictions on how that money can be spent.

Assembly Democrats hold a wide majority in the chamber over Republicans since 1975 and threat of losing power is not a realistic one.

Some Democratic incumbents this year are expected to face challenges in party primaries from progressive candidates in June.
