Republican U.S. Rep. Claudia Tenney reported raising just over $1 million in the first quarter of 2025, the congresswoman announced Thursday.

Tenney said her campaign raised money from every county in her district, receiving over 5,700 donations from more than 2,400 donors.

Tenney represents New York's 24th Congressional District, which snakes along Lake Ontario’s shoreline from the Thousand Islands to Niagara County, save for the greater Rochester area. It is a heavily Republican district and she defeated her Democratic opponent in 2024 by 32 points.

"I am grateful for the overwhelming support we’ve received from Upstate New Yorkers and committed to delivering on our America First Agenda. We have already raised and transferred over $200,000 to the National Republican Congressional Committee to ensure we are able to keep and build upon our Republican House Majority," Tenney said in a statement.

Tenney called New York a "battleground state" in 2026 when Gov. Kathy Hochul will be up for reelection following her narrow 6-point win in 2022 and Donald Trump's strong performance in the Empire State in the presidential race in 2024.

"Governor Hochul’s approval rating has hit rock bottom and battleground House Democrats will have to answer for her record of failure. We will continue working to ensure Republicans in New York have the resources they need to flip seats from Blue to Red and grow our Majority," Tenney said in her statement.

Tenney is in her second term representing the 24th District. Previously, she served two nonconsecutive terms in the former 22nd District.
