Gov. Kathy Hochul's bid for a full term on Monday was endorsed by 10 Democratic clubs in New York City.

The endorsements for Hochul, a Buffalo native with a political base in western New York, give her support in the five boroughs as she campaigns for the Democratic nomination ahead of the June primary.

"I am honored to receive the endorsement of these ten Democratic clubs, which represent a diverse coalition of community leaders and activists who share our commitment to expanding opportunity for every New Yorker," said Gov. Kathy Hochul. "Together, we are building a stronger, more united New York, and I look forward to working hand-in-hand to elect Democrats up and down the ballot this November."

Hochul was endorsed by the Audubon Reform Democratic Club, the Broadway Democrats Club, the Guy R. Brewer Democratic Club, the Lexington Democratic Club, the Martin Luther King Jr. Democratic Club, the Thomas Jefferson Democratic Club, the United Democratic Organization, the United Democratic Organization, the Village Independent Democrats, the West Harlem Progressive Democratic Club and the West Side Democrats.

Hochul last week unveiled her new lieutenant governor, Antonio Delgado, who is also her preferred running mate in the June primary election.

She faces Rep. Tom Suozzi and New York City Public Advocate Jumaane Williams.
