Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren in a video released Tuesday urged voters in New York to vote for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris on the Working Families Party ballot line.
The video, posted by the party's Twitter account, comes as the WFP is facing more stringent ballot qualification requirements this election cycle.
“If you live in New York, vote on the Working Families Party ballot line for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris,” Warren says in the video. “The Working Families Party is a powerful force for change. They have elected countless progressive leaders, and they’ve won major victories from paid family leave to a ban on fracking to landmark protections for renters.”
Warren is the latest figure on the left to support the WFP's vote push on the top of its ticket this year. Progressive lawmakers and elected officials last week released a video calling for WFP votes for the Biden-Harris ticket.
The WFP endorsed Warren during his bid for the presidential nomination.
