Democratic state Senate James Skoufis's re-election campaign has raised $217,358 in the last six months as he runs for a second term.

His campaign is also set to report having $501,180 in cash on hand for the November general election.

Skoufis, a former member of the state Assembly, was among the handful of Democrats who flipped Republican-held districts in 2018, winning the Hudson Valley seat that was vacated by GOP Sen. Bill Larkin.

This year Skoufis is facing Republican Orange County lawmaker Steve Brescia.
