Early voting got underway Saturday in primaries across New York state.

Federal, state and local candidates are vying to be on the ballot in November.

And, with that, a few reminders:

• Today is the last day to register to vote in a primary
• If you mailed in a registration, your local board of elections must have it by today
• You can also go to the board of elections in your area to register in person

Early voting wraps up on June 23. The actual primary day is June 25.
