Zohran Mamdani’s primary win over Andrew Cuomo in the race for mayor is shaking up the Democratic Party.

Assemblywoman Rodneyse Bichotte-Hermelyn, who leads the Brooklyn Democratic Party and had been an early backer of Cuomo, says she’s now supporting Mamdani in the general election.

She joined NY1 anchor Shannan Ferry on “News All Day” to talk about the results and what they could mean for the party’s direction in New York.
