Lt. Gov. Antonio Delgado is calling for change within the Democratic Party and the government at large.
Earlier this week, Delgado stated he will not seek reelection alongside the governor in 2026.
He was elected independently in 2022 while on the same ticket as Hochul.
Since being in office, he has voiced opposing views to the governor, such as being one of the first New York lawmakers asking Joe Biden to step down from his reelection bid.
Delgado has also called on Mayor Eric Adams to resign while Hochul has said she will not take that action.
He joined NY1 political anchor Errol Louis on “Inside City Hall” Thursday to discuss more.
