Mayor Eric Adams took questions Tuesday regarding the ongoing FBI probe into his campaign finances for the first time since news broke last week that his phones had been seized.

This came days after the FBI raided the Brooklyn home of one of his top fundraisers, Brianna Suggs.

The federal investigation reportedly centers on whether Adams’ campaign conspired with a Brooklyn construction company to funnel foreign money associated with Turkey into his campaign.

Ron Kuby, longtime criminal defense and civil rights lawyer, joined NY1 political reporter Bobby Cuza on “Inside City Hall” Tuesday to talk about how the mayor has publicly handled the investigation.

“It’s not at all clear if Mayor Adams is in any real trouble here at all, personally,” he said. “But he’s acting like a guy who thinks he is in trouble.”
