New York Primary Restoration A Win For Sanders Supporters

A federal judge Tuesday ordered New York’s Democratic presidential primary to proceed on June 23 — a development that heartened supporters of Senator Bernie Sanders.

Sanders has suspended his bid, but had hoped to remain on state ballots this spring to collect delegates ahead of the summertime Democratic National Convention.

Siena Poll: Sanders, Bloomberg Top Democratic Primary Field In New York

Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders draws 25 percent of support among Democratic voters in New York, a Siena College poll released Monday found.

The poll showed former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg reaching 21 percent of Democratic voters, within the poll's 4.5 percentage point margin of error.
