Westchester-area Democrat, Pete Harckham was the forty-second Democrat to declare victory this cycle, meaning he’s credited pushing the Dems into supermajority territory. Ironically, on the spectrum of progressive politics, Harckham represents constituents who are, generally, more middle of the road than his New York City counterparts.

During a Capital Tonight interview, host Susan Arbetter asked Harckham about progressive policies like raising taxes and the New York Health Act, the NRC’s approval of Entergy’s sale of Indian Point to Voltec, and dealing with a tactician like Governor Andrew Cuomo.
